Francesco Yoshi Gobbo :linux:<p>Since mid October 2023, noticing I was starting to have more and more <a href="https://qoto.org/tags/wristPain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>wristPain</span></a>, which were lasting days instead of hours... I opted to give those fancy <a href="https://qoto.org/tags/ergonomic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ergonomic</span></a> <a href="https://qoto.org/tags/splitKeyboards" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>splitKeyboards</span></a> a chance, and after several research hours, I opted for the <a href="https://qoto.org/tags/ZSA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ZSA</span></a> <a href="https://qoto.org/tags/Moonlander" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Moonlander</span></a>, there were alternatives, but too far from what I was used to, was unsure and this was my final choice. (also found a good local used deal)</p><p>Since I was changing keyboard, why not use also a more ergonomic layout? So, I opted for a <a href="https://qoto.org/tags/shockTherapy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>shockTherapy</span></a> and went with <a href="https://qoto.org/tags/Dvorak" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dvorak</span></a> and used this combination ever since! My first days were quite.... a going back to when I was 7 years old, sub 10 wpm XD but after a couple of weeks, typing was not as humiliating as before and my speeds increased :)</p><p>From time to time, I recorded my progress on <a href="https://qoto.org/tags/Monkeytype" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Monkeytype</span></a> and these at the bottom are 4 months of data, from a classical full size <a href="https://qoto.org/tags/qwerty" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>qwerty</span></a> at 110ish wpm to currently 60ish, with a constant increase week after week. I am not in a hurry, as my wrist pain vanished, and that was the final goal..
