Metal_Link<p>The last three rallies is where my 3rd season in JRC3 took a nose dive. Kinda just threw out what was appearing to be a "fairly good season" during the gravel rallies only to reaffirm my place in the mediocre middle of the standings. I pulled in similarly big points for the team; 7th in Sweden and I'm currently holding 8th in New Zealand. I miss my GT3 Mustang though!In <a href="https://ocw.social/tags/EASportsWRC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EASportsWRC</span></a> and the JRC: I'm still in JRC3, but within the eWrecked Racing team that I joined last season, I have been promoted from the sister squad into the main squad for Season 17. We'll be taking the Peugeot 208 Rally4 through all 8 rounds! I'll try to practice for these rallies, as the rounds that I practiced helped me tons last season. Then I plan on broadcasting the rallies on my Twitch channel on Sundays. The calendar (attached in this Toot) appears pretty unique and I'm eager to meet the challenge.</p>

Paul Morris<p>Very disappointed is an understatement reading that EA and Codemasters have decided to call it quits to EA Sports WRC with two years of the contract left, and all rally design to be rested.</p><p>I was hoping to see - and made videos on it - the three 'missing' cars and the real-life Rally GT cars return. And after the most recent DLCs, more new real-to-life stages (like the full Ouninpohja). Then the new 2025 rallies.</p><p>But now it's all over with. And we have to hope someone new will create a game with these cars and real-to-life stages, with similar physics. So not KT Games.</p><p>All those hopes gone. I even skipped the JRC round in Poland in <a href="https://ocw.social/tags/EASportsWRC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EASportsWRC</span></a> last week in favor of spending time with my wife (that left unclaimed points on the table for the team, which I feel bad about).</p><p>I'm hoping that I can get on the rig today for the Estonian Rally and pick up some championship points, but I'm going to pick my wife's needs first should there be a protest. My <a href="https://ocw.social/tags/SimRacing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SimRacing</span></a> is a hobby, it'll be there later, and my wife is more important to me.</p>

Paul Morris<p>So I've been playing the Hard Chargers DLC for <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/EASportsWRC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EASportsWRC</span></a> and I like it.</p><p>The cars are great - I especially am loving the Renault Clio Rally3, and the two stages are excellent tests.</p><p>Umea is a mix of high speed and then heavy braking zones, while Harvati is a technical challenge, ready to end your run, that for someone who fumbles and is slow on all, actually can benefit by getting to the finish.</p><p>And as someone who has already seen this routine with Forza Horizon 5 content creators, I don't myself think this will be the last DLC for the game at all. I see no evidence for it, and expect more to come. It seems too much work is being done for a new release in six months.</p><p>The only reason I could see one happening, is if there would be a technical improvement that can't be done in the current game.
