privacy_guru<p>Who here uses DuckDuckGo as their search engine? For the last few months whenever I want to open a Wikipedia article on their search results the page fails to open. If I copy/paste the link I want to view in my browser it loads fine. If I use another search engine the Wiki page link opens just fine. I keep wondering if DuckDuckGo is blocking Wikipedia links so people will use their AI more often. Or is this just a me and my browser problem? Can this be replicated? <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/duckduckgo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>duckduckgo</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ai</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/wikipedia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>wikipedia</span></a></p>

This in turn made me wonder today:</p><p>Is what generative AI does like drinking from and peeing into the same water reservoir?</p>

Richard Broekman<p>Q for <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/DuckDuckGo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DuckDuckGo</span></a> experts: I used to have my browser start page set to start.duckduckgo.com.
