I'm watching the queen reveal for season 17 of #RuPaulsDragRace and it has a weirdly #Dragula vibe. I mean, they're never going to be as cool or as fucked up as Dragula, but it's way less pageanty than I expected.

There's something of a monstrous vibe to the runway presentation, even for the queens who seem to be more in the pageant or comedy vein.

This Dragula season is so fucking good. All the contestants are great, there's a lot of filth, the references are on point, the guest judges are awesome, the exterminations are heavy, and the drama is goooood.

I can already see how much the Dragula contestants are going to argue this season. Everyone is loud... But anyway, great premiere episode.

I can't wait for Dragula S666 to begin, and also I can't wait for the drama. Dragula always delivers the most interesting side of the drag for me and it also always delivers in good drama.

There was a season of #Dragula where 9 of the contestants were tops, and the only bottom was #ErikaKlash.

(They freely talked about this kind of thing, it was charming.)

There was some banter about whether Erika, as the sole bottom of the group, would be able to handle all those tops.

Wife has been watching The Boulet Brothers' Dragula, seemed interesting so restarted Season 5.

I had one of those moments where I knew I was about to learn something, as I assumed that being a Drag King was *way* easier than being a Queen.

Only a few episodes in, but I have an all new respect for Kings and realize the bar isn't as different as I originally thought.

Made it through this season of #Dragula unspoiled.

Happy with the winner too.

Can't tell if it was a better or worse season for having less drama than the last few seasons but was fun time and I'm always grateful for a show where people can be a 'necromorph' or a gloopy monster for fun.
