the thing #doomers obsess about with entropy is about how non-fossil fuel energy is A LOT less energy (or power) dense than sunlight, which basically fuel renewables. very complex life, like humanity, can only feed on sources of sufficiently high energy density, so long story short, transitioning to renewable energy goes against the rules of life, if you will.
the thing is, whether or not i, or anyone agrees - doesn't really matter, right. point is STILL: we have to use less.

For some time now I have considered that #Climate and #Environment #Doomerism is, actually, the only realistic approach. Pretending that we are not thoroughly f*cked on multiple levels actively prevents:
1) Challenging the widespread delusion that we are doing anything near what actually needs to be done
2) Preparing for the impending societal #Collapse that will affect everyone in ways that they simply don't understand, and don't want to understand.
Here's what the #Doomers get wrong: there's never a point of no return due to the nature of the #ClimateEmergency we face. Every fraction of a degree of heat we add to the planet greatly increases disasters worldwide.
