John Wright<p>This week's <a href="https://mas.to/tags/DisquietJunto" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DisquietJunto</span></a> prompt was to take an existing track that is in 4/4 and re-work it so it is in 5/4. I participated in <a href="https://mas.to/tags/WeeklyBeats" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WeeklyBeats</span></a> in 2024 and near the end I challenged myself to compose tracks in any time signature other than 4/4. I ended up with a handful of tracks in odd time that I really enjoyed making. So I went back to Week 1 from last year and converted it from 4/4 to 5/4. <a href="https://on.soundcloud.com/QU4oFPKXf72Wsczu6" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">on.soundcloud.com/QU4oFPKXf72W</span><span class="invisible">sczu6</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Disquiet0694" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Disquiet0694</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/electronicmusic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>electronicmusic</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/mymusic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mymusic</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/originalmusic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>originalmusic</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/musicproduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>musicproduction</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/musodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>musodon</span></a></p>

Coraline Ada Ehmke<p>Conceptual, feminist, noisy, terrifying. You probably don't want to listen to this. </p><p>(Unless you're wondering what the exit music for a Dario Argento remake of The Shining might sound like.)</p><p><a href="https://soundcloud.com/coralineada/like-a-melody-disquiet0694" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">soundcloud.com/coralineada/lik</span><span class="invisible">e-a-melody-disquiet0694</span></a></p><p><a href="https://ruby.social/tags/disquietjunto" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>disquietjunto</span></a> <a href="https://ruby.social/tags/disquiet0694" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>disquiet0694</span></a> <a href="https://ruby.social/tags/MakeUnpopularMusic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MakeUnpopularMusic</span></a> <a href="https://ruby.social/tags/noise" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>noise</span></a></p>
Tarren van Ettinger<p>I woke up yesterday to a challenge to rework a previous song of mine. Let's see if anyone (a) recognizes the song and/or (b) what was done to it. And if the <a href="https://musician.social/tags/Disquiet0694" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Disquiet0694</span></a> hashtag is already familiar to you, please let those who aren't in the Disquiet Junto to have a shot first. <a href="https://tarrenvanettinger.bandcamp.com/track/fresh-5" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">tarrenvanettinger.bandcamp.com</span><span class="invisible">/track/fresh-5</span></a></p>
