John Wright<p>This week's <a href="https://mas.to/tags/DisquietJunto" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DisquietJunto</span></a> prompt was to take an existing track that is in 4/4 and re-work it so it is in 5/4. I participated in <a href="https://mas.to/tags/WeeklyBeats" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WeeklyBeats</span></a> in 2024 and near the end I challenged myself to compose tracks in any time signature other than 4/4. I ended up with a handful of tracks in odd time that I really enjoyed making.
