Paul Richards<p>I'm disassembling my own binaries and using this to examine what the compiler generates. Mostly for learning.</p><p>I'm currently using `objdump` which can show the source code alongside the disassembled output, but it's fairly cumbersome. But it's Windows only and paid.<br>- <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.projectsegfau.lt/tag/ghidra" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Ghidra</a> is written in <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.projectsegfau.lt/tag/java" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Java</a> aka :hollow: language. Horrible interface, unintuitive, confusing, and needs multiple windows. But it's cross compatible with <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.projectsegfau.lt/tag/linux" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Linux</a>, <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.projectsegfau.lt/tag/mac" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Mac</a>, and <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.projectsegfau.lt/tag/windows" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Windows</a> (and more since it's written in java). But my god i'd rather run a Windows VM and run IDA Pro than...whatever the hell that is this thing.<br><br>I'd love to hear other arguments when it comes to disassemblers, like better tools, or if i'm using Ghidra wrong.
