in the ride of today, I found an abandoned fallen trunk, so I decided to accompany it with a photo...

Looks like digiKam is a bust, too. Auto-tagging is so bad as to be nearly worthless:
Reflecting pool in the fog? "traffic light"
Many photos of #Violet? "cat"
Drawing of a meerkat or someone spinning fire? "bird"
Box of rubber snakes? "bottle"
It's fairly good at *detecting* faces, but is totally unable to recognize them.
We might have to give up and stick with Google Photos because nothing else works.
I took a picture of a Go board and digiKam thinks the black stones are faces.

Someone mentioned a Skip button. Given my experience with face detection in #digikam, it would be nice to also have buttons like "this is not a building" and "this is a building, but don't train on this" for cases where the image is blurry or the building is half hidden by something like another building or a tree.

These Superb Owls are just plain tuckered out. Being superb all day long is exhausing!

Does anyone have experience with digiKam?
This fine feathered fellow is looking his best for #SuperbOwl Sunday. He is a Great Horned Owl at the Battle Creek, Michigan zoo.

When I use #DigiKam for rotating images, it rotates the picture 90 degree counterclockwise when pressing the "rotate left" button, as expected.
But it rotates 180 degrees clockwise when pressing on the "rotate right" button, which is quite disturbing.
Is there an configuration option so I can reset right rotation to 90 degree again?
@jasonmcfadden I've been using #digiKam since 2007. It's wonderful - here I have everything I need.
I use it not only for my archive works, I also installed it on my laptop. Because it is just as suitable for quickly importing raw images on the go when I'm not at home.
@dannotdaniel Maybe #digikam can do it? I've never used it for editing.
