Megan Lynch (she/her)<p>Upright delta trikes are rising in popularity around Davis.</p><p>This is the second one of these rearbench delta trikes I've seen. My guess is that they're popular because they're cheaper than most quality cargo bikes, but also because some students did not learn how to balance a bike when younger & fear it. It was popular, so without any real democratic process, the city just ceded public property to those businesses. The seating areas are not accessible. Megan Lynch (she/her)<p>Suffice it to say, there are dangers to being around large trees, but I personally would not want to live in a city or suburb that doesn't have large trees.</p><p>What needs to happen is what used to happen - we used to have robust public horticulture that cared for the trees and maintained them. It wasn't just outsourced to chainsaw jockeys.
