But they tell the (otherwise uninformed) masses just one side of a story, leave out relevant details (including historical), share misinformation or interview politicians who plainly lie or shift "red lines".

W.r.t. words: particularly those that still have a specific meaning to the masses, are deliberately weaponised by using them for something completely different, sometimes even the opposite of what the masses believe or associate with (such as antisemitism and mass murder).

The masses can only be influenced by using information that our opponents CANNOT turn into "we want Israel removed from the map and kill all Jews who refuse to leave" (even if that is the exact desire of some Jews and other people w.r.t. Gaza, the Westbank and Palestinians).

Unfortunately, our opponents (the media -press and social- in particular) are WAY more poweful than we are. They are permitted to make mistakes, we are not. Not even a single one.

But *we need* the masses to influence our governments (which always works, because the masses are their voters). IMO, in the end that's why we protest.

Therefore, IMO, *if* we want to help Palestinians, we *first* have to isolate and stop extremists from being in charge and decide what happens tomorrow.

The time is not right to ALSO insist on obtaining a longer lasting solution. I'm sure that negotiating, for example, a two-state solution will only be possible after deescalation - when less extremists, those who really feel the need for achieving a reasonable solution, start meeting.

So my question to you is: do you really want more Palestinian tomb stones to read: "Our western world friends were right, but now I'm here."

@edgeofeurope @JoostThissen @arnoldgerritsen

#StrategicThinking #DavidVsGoliath
