Florent Kirchner<p>[2/3] Protecting data is one hell of a challenge, especially in evolving environments (aka, most of them) and against threats that are getting more sophisticated.
🌍 In environments where data flows between systems and platforms, each transfer point must be secure, especially when data moves through potentially untrusted infrastructures.
🤝 Sharing information is crucial, but it can't come at the cost of data confidentiality, even when ops require external partners to be involved.<br><a href="https://mastodon.cloud/tags/DataSharing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DataSharing</span></a></p>

Serhii Nazarovets<p>Due to 🇺🇦 bureaucratic requirements, many are trying to calculate the 'amount of <a href="https://mstdn.science/tags/FAIR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FAIR</span></a> data' in December. This is absurd, as FAIR represents principles, not 'units of data.' There is no standardized method to measure how much data complies with FAIR, and moreover, these principles are multifaceted - each aspect can have varying levels of implementation. In short, FAIR assessment requires a comprehensive analysis, not a simple count.<br> <br><a href="https://mstdn.science/tags/FAIRprinciples" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FAIRprinciples</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.science/tags/OpenScience" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OpenScience</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.science/tags/DataSharing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DataSharing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.science/tags/FAIRData" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FAIRData</span></a></p>
