Gilbert has these two swirls on the backs of his hind legs that I just love. So I was finally able to get a picture that didn’t look weird. I tried to get a video of his wiggle walk while we were out this morning but he wouldn’t cooperate. When he walks, his spine wiggles like a snake because his shoulders are so swole lol. krdabrTime for <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/DailyGilbert" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#DailyGilbert</a> ! Gilberto was acting completely coconuts yesterday while we cleaned out and reorganized the pantry. We gave him a pig ear and set up a puzzle treat. The pig ear was gone in 2 seconds and he got frustrated with the puzzle and left it. He also made sure I was ok while I was running my <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/gurps" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#gurps</a> campaign. He came home and ate like he’d not had a meal in years and then curled up on the chair (first picture). He didn’t move until bedtime. He has been very energetic in the evenings for the past few days. Evenings are usually reserved for snuggles on the couch. Today he is going to daycare for the first time since Harper passed away in July. He kept his leash loose 90% of the time and really only pulled when he saw a bird or squirrel. When he first came home he was food reactive and would start eating before the bowl even touched the floor. Now he sits and waits patiently for my wife or me to say “good boy” which is the signal that he can eat. Today we are sitting around and preparing for the inevitability of Monday. Look at that pouty bottom lip y’all. I can’t figure out if Gilbert is as ready to go home as we are or if he will miss town life. He really enjoyed his morning walks around the square. He was such a good boy on vacation this week. He has turned into a dog that walks calmly beside us the sidewalk but I know that’s not going to last. He’s had a great first vacation. There was a 100 foot suspension bridge over the river and he did not care for that part.
