LLWAS makes an alert for controllers that they tell pilots. In this case without LLWAS, ATC did give the pilots an alert about low level winds based on pilot reports &amp; existing equipment. People that live there lined up landmarks from the video, and concluded that the plane did not touch down early. Apparently, the ADS-B data is not accurate enough. The winds were extremely strong and extremely gusting. The plane was not level before contact. The pilots may have been fighting those winds, especially a major gust. Hoping the 2 people still in the hospital will have a quick recovery.</p><p>It's scary to think that it's been almost exactly 20 years since Air France Flight 358 went down at Pearson.
