Tech-Konzerne wie Amazon, TikTok oder Temu setzen weiterhin auf manipulatives Design, obwohl der Digital Services Act (DSA) dies eigentlich umfassend verbietet. Zu diesem Ergebnis kommt der @Bundesverband in einer neuen Untersuchung.

Die EU-Kommission muss alles daran setzen, die Regelungen des #DSA konsequent durchzusetzen. Zudem sollte der geplante Digital Fairness Act (#DFA) genutzt werden, um Regelungslücken zu schließen.

After a question from the conservative EPP group, McGrath confirms he'll use the #DigitalFairnessAct (DFA) to tackle barriers to protecting people as consumers, especially safeguarding minors from unfair marketing techniques like in-app sales & gambling-like features in video games.

After years I looked again at a #Java library I once wrote to create (Non)deterministic Finite Automata (#nfa, #dfa). I removed a lot of stuff to trim it to the real core. Now I will slowly add features again.

In contrast to builtin regular expression in Java, this one does DFAs and also allows to visualize them (see FaToDot). Javadoc and tutorial are not up, but source code is on #codeberg .

The name prefix, monq, was not invented by a native french speaker. 😀
