A very loose interpretation of the "Inclusion" prompt for Day 28 of the #30DayChartChallenge, by "including" two charts in one!

post: Data viz Exploring recipe data set - servings
Since there are so many datasets to explore, let's look at the one with food from Kaggle. And start with servings.

Catching up on Day 24 of the #30DayChartChallenge where the prompt is using data from the World Health Organization
Tried an experimental way to visualise two variables, where lower values are better for both
Area shrinking towards zero indicates improvement
Think this would work better if there's a more natural scaling between two variables
For the "Monochrome" prompt on Day 26 of the #30DayChartChallenge, I decided to do a little bit of data art in D3!
"ABRA ABRACADABRA...I heat up, I can't cool down !" (Steve Miller Band)

I'm almost back on track with the #30DayChartChallenge with another trio of plots - this time all made from scratch in D3!
I learned how to: Make scatter plots, line charts, and area charts
Highlight and annotate specific data points
Fit Loess curves in D3
I've been learning more D3 recently, and I figured the best (or at least most fun) way to learn it, was to make some generative art!
This was one of the ways that helped me to understand #RStats better because using functions for things they weren't designed for helps you learn how they break
So here's my first attempt!

It's Day 9 of the #30DayChartChallenge, and the prompt is "Diverging"
Looking at % point change in wealth inequality between 2022 and 2023 in Europe

Today starts the #30DayChartChallenge, happy times for #dataviz lovers!
I recently joined the Health Foundation. So this year (as time allows) I’ll post a mix of visualisations about health topics made in Flourish (our main charting library) + fun stuff I learnt to make in #python and #D3.
