joshb<p>My own experience with <a href="https://masto.2tonwaffle.com/tags/ConvertKit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConvertKit</span></a>. Except I had been running a newsletter previously with Ghost and was wanting to try out their service. Went through the entire interview process and received the denail email.<br>When I asked about the reasoning, was met with a response of their TOS. Ok, could you help me in this business decision to met your requirement. Nope, nothing. Essentially if you do not already have a decently successful listing, ConvertKit does not want you, look elsewhere.</p>
drupalthoughts<p>there may be an opening for a temp <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/marketo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>marketo</span></a> email developer (likely hybrid in <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/chicago" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>chicago</span></a>). Since very few use Marketo, I&#39;ll also list xp in <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Mailchimp" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Mailchimp</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Salesforce" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Salesforce</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Klaviyo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Klaviyo</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/ConstantContact" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ConstantContact</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Convertkit" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Convertkit</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/blah" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>blah</span></a> blah blah as relevant. Posting on mastodon seems like a better place to find smart, terminally online email developers than most other networks!</p>
Mike :nixos:<p>My brilliant wife (and CEO of MemberVault) has always been an <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/email" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>email</span></a> strategy geek. </p><p>She&#39;s always used ActiveCampaign, but now starting a new newsletter with <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/convertkit" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>convertkit</span></a> and LOVING it. Natik Gadzhi<p>Do I know anyone in <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/convertkit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>convertkit</span></a>? I’m likely screaming into a void here, but hey.</p>
Sara Lobkovich, J.D., NBC-HWC<p>Any other <a href="https://thinkydoers.social/tags/ConvertKit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConvertKit</span></a> peeps here want to join me on their Creator Network waitlist? I can’t go back to <a href="https://thinkydoers.social/tags/Substack" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Substack</span></a> for ethical reasons, but could really use a network effect on my newsletters.</p><p>Join the waitlist with me here:</p><p><a href="https://findrc.co/3kUFVP5" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">findrc.co/3kUFVP5</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://thinkydoers.social/tags/ContentCreator" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ContentCreator</span></a> <a href="https://thinkydoers.social/tags/AmWriting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AmWriting</span></a></p>
Adara Astin<p><span class="h-card"><a href="https://mstdn.social/@SDZ" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>SDZ</span></a></span> I use the free plan on ConvertKit which lets me create unlimited landing pages. </p><p>They aren't exactly designed for this, but I make it work &amp; I'm pleased with how they're coming out so far.</p><p>Plus they have integrated newsletter sign ups in the landing pages &amp; we all need more newsletter subscribers.</p><p>If you need to make landing pages, I recommend checking them out.</p><p><a href="https://convertkit.com/features/forms?lmref=2KJvaA" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">convertkit.com/features/forms?</span><span class="invisible">lmref=2KJvaA</span></a></p><p><a href="https://smutlandia.com/tags/ConvertKit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConvertKit</span></a> <a href="https://smutlandia.com/tags/Newsletter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Newsletter</span></a> <a href="https://smutlandia.com/tags/LandingPages" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LandingPages</span></a></p>
Phil Dearson<p>I went from self-employed to a full time job just before Christmas. Unsurprisingly, I’ve struggled to keep up with the <a href="https://pkm.social/tags/newsletter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>newsletter</span></a> since then, and my old company <a href="https://pkm.social/tags/website" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>website</span></a> is unnecessary.</p><p>So I’m reconsidering my <a href="https://pkm.social/tags/digital" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>digital</span></a> estate. Any thoughts?</p><p>I was using <a href="https://pkm.social/tags/ConvertKit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConvertKit</span></a> for newsletter and forms, and self-hosted <a href="https://pkm.social/tags/WordPress" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WordPress</span></a> for a small company website.</p><p>My preference is for something really lightweight. I use <a href="https://pkm.social/tags/ObsidianMD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ObsidianMD</span></a> all day, so have been considering either Obsidian Publish or similar.</p>
Mike Bifulco<p>For my <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/NextJS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NextJS</span></a> friends - I thought I'd share a recent tutorial I made on using Next with <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/ConvertKit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConvertKit</span></a>.</p><p>It turns out you can use the ConvertKit API to publish newsletter broadcasts to your next site!
