It's STILL strange how Figma is, I think, pretty much rendering elements with css layout rules, like a webpage, but not letting you share as a webpage.

In Settings>Advanced>Video Chat Instance > Enter one of these servers: https://github.com/tosterkamp/random-redirect/blob/develop/res/jitsi_servers.lst ....with this at the end of the URL: "$ROOM#config.prejoinPageEnabled=false"
Or if you want to start the call with audio only (no video), add "$ROOM#config.prejoinPageEnabled=false&#config.startWithVideoMuted=true"

I've pushed an update to #emacs #substrate, my rock-bottom emacs #config starter. I've decided to cement 'straight' as the base package manager and done some rework on the base package install. I had to change the default theme from evangelion-theme to challenger-deep. I suspect this is because evangelion does not support emacs 30.1.
I just pushed my updated #emacs #config to Codeberg, have a look if you want. There have been a lot of changes to Time Management (e.g. parallel clocks), document templates etc.

Modat Internet Index Solution führte Anfang 2025 eine umfassende Untersuchung durch und entdeckte 49.000 falsch konfigurierte, ungeschützte #Zugangsverwaltungssysteme (AMS) in mehreren Branchen und Ländern, die die Privatsphäre und die physische #Sicherheit in kritischen Sektoren gefährden könnten. Die #AMS waren nicht richtig für die sichere #Authentifizierung konfiguriert, so dass nahezu jeder darauf hätte zugreifen können.
Figma Sites: Saw this coming. Early days though—can’t really compare with Webflow or Framer yet. I stay away from any no-code editors due to lock-in effects (see price hikes on framer for certain features on existing projects) and limitations in what you can do. 
Grid Auto Layout: amazing addition. Since auto layout is basically flexbox—now we get CSS grid behavior too. Grid is great for the overall layout structure and complex arrangements. 
Drawing Mode: I rarely use brushes, but I think this is big for illustrators looking to ditch Adobe. Hope they also fixed some bugs on vector ops and SVG import/export. “Text on path” finally being native is a win—no more plugin hacks. 
Figma Buzz: Gimmick. I guess they want to have something to compete with Canva. Might be helpful for large social media teams that are art-directed. 
New Effects: This one flew under the radar I feel. Progressive blur, noise and pattern fills kind fill the gap for me between Figma and what old school design tools like Photoshop or Fireworks could do. My favorite addition after grid.
