I've switched my <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/ErgoDash" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#ErgoDash</a> to <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/ColemakDH" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#ColemakDH</a> in mid October (see <a href="https://marcoxbresciani.codeberg.page/keyboards/ergodash/ergodash.html#ergodash---day-443-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no">https://marcoxbresciani.codeberg.page/keyboards/ergodash/ergodash.html#ergodash---day-443-</a> ) but I've never been a touch-typer and it's very difficult to find even 20 minutes per day for training (see <a href="https://www.keybr.com/profile/f5vmplt" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no">https://www.keybr.com/profile/f5vmplt</a> ). While working I'm slowing down everyone, waiting for me typing and doing bunch of errors. I don't think I'll continue: I'm updating my <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/QMK" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#QMK</a> layers to go back to <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/QWERTY" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#QWERTY</a>. 20+ years of QWERTY are hard to change.

UweIch habe mir viele Beispiele dazu angesehen, wie bzw. mit welchem Layout andere Nutzer ihr Split-Keyboard belegt haben. Die unglaublich vielen Möglichkeiten bei der Programmierung der Tastatur finde ich jedenfalls grandios. It's still not the default layer, and I'm not a touch-typer, but it's one click away when I turn on the PC, and it's about time to learn! I'm sure I'll get crazy learning it, but... why not!? 😇

Should prevent some characters being entered by an errant finger, and sounds cool to boot. And with 95% accuracy. Pretty happy with the (gradual) progress.

I'd previously explored Colemak-DH and <a href="https://toot.cafe/tags/Soul" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Soul</a> (among other alternate keyboard layouts) in late 2021 which was enough research and experience to know that Colemak-DH excelled at the minimal hand movement I wanted.It's been 3 good months of brain rewiring and I'm thankful to already be halfway (back) to my 100 wpm goal!
