Creo que al rededor de 10 años #Clementine fue mi reproductor predeterminado en cada nuevo equipo, instalación, y versión de #Trisquel que usara
El tiempo no pasa en vano y con tristeza veo que la falta de desarrollo ya se nota en esta nueva versión de #Trisquel12, agradezco todos estos años a sus devs.
Hoy toca aprender a seguir fluyendo con los cambios, hoy comenzamos a usar #Strawberry, lo que parece ser un fork directo y decente.

Not sure what happened, but for me the "all" endpoint of radio-browser stopped working and I had to change to a country specific one #Clementine #InternetRadio

I used this for many years on my laptop. I don't know if it is still supported. The latest information I can find is from 2016. Does anyone know if it still works with the newer operating systems?

What is the least-bad music player for #linux
Currently using #clementine, which I found to be the least-bad like 5 years ago, but I think it's unmaintained and some of the edges pretty rough

My #LinuxMint box is packed because I'm relocating it from the living room to my office. I inherited a vast CD and cassette collection, so I mostly use #Clementine.
If you see the #webapp icon in the address bar, you can click it to install the webapp. I did this for #YouTubeMusic at one point. I don't cast because I have several #bluetooth options.

Okay, I think I have #JWM set up as close to ideal (for now) as I can get it. I installed #Compton for transparency effects; this upped my memory use on the #mangopiquad but it was worth it. I could still run #Clementine, #Kpat, and #Dillo at the same time, so I am good.

Since the kiddo is home sick, it's time to learn some #JWM in the down times. So far it has been pretty straight forward. I will say running it on a #mangopiquad (#armhf) has made it trickier to set up; most tutorials/videos I have found are ppl running JWM on #X86.
So far with #Clementine, #Btop, and #Kpat running I am on average around 65% ram use, 20 to 40% cpu use, and temps averaging around 69 (nice) freedom units.

With WebDAV you can easily access data in the Hubzilla/streams cloud including your private music collection and use it on all kinds of end devices.
If you have activated WebDAV on your desktop PC, you can simply drag and drop music files stored in the cloud into locally installed audio players such as #VLC #^https://www.videolan.org or #clementine #^https://www.clementine-player.org/ via the file browser and play them. Playlists can of course also be created in this way.
Playing .m3u8 playlists directly from the cloud should also be possible in the web browser with the appropriate plugins, but I have not yet been able to get this to work.
For streaming audio files to the smartphone, there are apps that can also do this in combination with WebDAV clouds.

This App not only allows you to catalog and play audio files from the Internet Archive site, but also very easily the private music file collection from your own cloud. ... Spotify & Co not necessary.
Streaming also has many disadvantages. I always have music that is important to me with me on my phone as stored data ... but via the WebDAV Hubzilla/streams cloud you can now share audio files for streaming with your family or with friends you really trust. Everyone just needs to know and use the WebDAV credentials. That is why as already mentioned in other posts, you can't really share things in an anonymous network via WebDAV.
Now that we know some use cases with WebDAV, in the next post I will come to the special protocol CalDAV with which event and calendar data can be exchanged between different end devices.

It took me unreasonably long (months) to realize that all recent releases of the #Clementine music player are only available on Github and not linked on the project website. https://github.com/clementine-player/Clementine/releases
And the best thing? It seems 1.4.1 is working on Windows (which I have to suffer on my work PC...) again.
