Ich nutze schon einige Jahre #keepass bzw. #keppassXC.

Heute fielen mir noch alte #Passworte im #Browser auf, die teilweise #Security #Warnungen anzeigten (Leaks und doppelte PWs).

Die habe ich jetzt alle angeschaut und die alten Accounts deaktiviert oder ein neues Passwort vergeben (inkl. 2FA).

Manche Accounts sind/waren noch aus den Nullerjahren…

Random tech update: I switched to #Vivaldi (https://vivaldi.com) as my main #browser at least 6 months ago, and really haven't looked back. It's fast like chrome without the google bullshit and doesn't eat memory like firefox (sorry FF, I'm sure you'll come back around). I downloaded it for the RSS aggregator, & am staying for the performance/general usage.

With the #mozilla #firefox #browser, I am using the #bonjourr extension and now it offers me the best background picture EVER: #coffee beans ...

mozilla come proton: ha tolto ogni collegamento a mastodon dal suo sito ufficiale, sostituendolo con bluesky.

Invece Brave, Librewolf, Waterfox e Vivaldi mantengono il link all'account mastodon ufficiale nei loro rispettivi siti.

L'anno scorso Mozilla aveva chiuso la propria istanza mastodon e ora questo.

Since the #browser people at Apple seem to push simple new browser APIs (sometimes JS-less), there is one thing I wish was possible without a SPA:

Seamless audio playback while navigating a site for MPAs.
I am thinking of podcast players, music platforms where the playback should not stop, when I move to another page (without using a popout).

It would be very cool, if we had an easy to use #standard for this.

After ditching browser after browser due to privacy, AI, or whatever nonsense, I find myself using Konqueror.

It's kind of a breath of fresh air. Google is hostile towards it and I miss having a Bitwarden plugin but I think I'll survive.
