Wen<p>Remembrance swim 32 of 61</p><p>Stichill Linn</p><p>A delightful trail run of 5k (round) with a dip and a waterfall in the middle. We had run/swum this many times, spring, summer and winter. You have to do a lot of laps to get the distance in the water, but it is very refreshing on a hot day and the run is under a fine canopy and cool with it. Water lower, but on the positive side much much warmer (there was snow on the banks last time). Wen<p>Morning chore</p><p>The dug was asked to help move some beasts from one field to another 1k away down the old railway track. So he was picked up and disappeared off with his dad. The pair of them got off the quad and rounded up the stragglers from the corners of a very large field, hopped back on and didn’t lift another paw for the duration. Wen<p>Remembrance swim 26 of 61</p><p>Gladhouse reservoir</p><p>This was a favourite swim when we were working apart - it has the advantage of a very pleasing run (track and a wee bit of road) around the water and a very nice pub nearby. 1k swim, 8k run (with minor irritations - see alt.text). Wen<p>All his own work</p><p>The dug had been in the car for 90 minutes this afternoon, so we got out for an hour and cut through the farm where he occasionally ‘works’ (on the promise of a quad bike ride). He knows the sheep and they him.
