I find this visualization fascinating: the basso continuo is clear, and you can see how the other parts "float" about the basso continuo, repeating motifs.</p><p>A summary of Nicholas Rougeux's explanation:<br>Each dot represents a note, and when each note occurs is shown by its distance from the 12 o'clock position. Each dot's distance from the center of the image shows pitch, and each dot's size indicates the duration of the note.
