Classic and Vintage BMWThis is the Baur-Kohl Coupe, a collaboration between Stuttgart coachbuilder, Karosserie Baur, and Autohaus Kohl, a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BMW" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BMW</a> dealership in Aachen, Germany. Classic and Vintage BMW1970 <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BMW" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BMW</a> 2800CS (E9): 2.8 liter, twin-carbureted (two Solex 35/40 INAT) six-cylinder M30 engine with 170 hp (126 kW) @ 6,000 rpm - 235 Nm / 173 ft. lbs of torque @ 3,700 rpm - 0-60 mph (96.5 km/h) in 8.3 seconds with a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h) - 1,167 units were produced between 1968 and 1971. The Alpina C1 2.3 was based on the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BMW" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BMW</a> E21 323i and was powered by a 6 cylinder, 2.3-liter (2316 cc), K-Jectronic fuel injected M30 engine with 170 hp (125 kW) - 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h) - 462 units were produced between April of 1980 to July of 1983. Classic and Vintage BMWThis <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BMW" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BMW</a> M1 Procar was overhauled by the Santa Cruz-based tuner, Canepa. The original 3.5 liter M88 6-cylinder engine was bored and stroked to 3.8 liter and the original mechanical Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection was replaced with a modern Motec system. Horsepower is reported as 414 hp at the crankshaft, with dyno figures showing around 360 hp at the wheels. More pics and info below..
