Was thinking about #AnimalFarm today, and realized that if you follow the symbolism, Orwell is saying that the tsar was the one and only true human in Russia, and all other Russians are a bunch of animals, which I wasn't sure how to feel about. But then I read the plot recap and was reminded that Orwell depicts this human as an irresponsible alcoholic who caused his own downfall among the animals, which made my respect for Orwell's symbolism grow just that much more.
