KesharaI've been using AirTags hidden on some of my items that would be typical thief targets. Today I learnt about the AirGuard Android application which you can find on F-Droid. I had no idea that anyone would be able to just play an alert and reveal the location of the AirTag that was hidden. Nikhil 🐧Yesterday morning I installed the <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/airguard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#airguard</a> android app, because why not? 😁What it does: it scans for Bluetooth trackers (like apple's airtags). If the scan returns an unknown Bluetooth device again and again, while you are on the move, it means that it could be a tracker.However, when I was travelling by train in the afternoon I got false-positive warnings since people on the train had trackers and the train was moving 😂Still good to know that it works and would catch these trackers! 😎👌🏾
