It is a significant achievement for a third party. </p><p>Paddy Manning's take on the Greens is well worth reading. #Greens leader #AdamBandt has urged the government to walk away from the #AUKUS pact with the #UnitedStates, describing the imposition of #steel and #aluminium #tariffs as a "wake-up call" to rethink Australia's relationship with its key ally.

It comes as #Trade Minister #DonFarrell said the challenge going forward is figuring out what US President Donald #Trump wants and to "make an offer he can't refuse".

I'm sorry Cathy but that statement is wrong. The #Greens worked with the #Labor govt to improve the #HAFF to include extra money for #SocialHousing. I can find the details if you are particularly interested. Also, what the #Greens have currently done is to delay a vote on the shared equity in housing bill to allow the #Labor govt more time to consider negotiating a better solution. As you can see below, #AdamBandt is happy with the community feedback so far.
