amd<p>I was reading the manifold GitHub page and I saw that the STL format <a href="https://github.com/elalish/manifold#3d-formats" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">loses topology</a> and can make a properly manifold mesh <a href="https://sinestesia.co/blog/tutorials/non-manifold-meshes-and-how-to-fix-them/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">non-manifold</a>.</p><p>The suggestion is to use 3MF.</p><p>Is there any reason not to use 3MF when sharing files?
