And he's backed up here by the Clementi Sound Appreciation Club (a five-piece band of jazz musicians from the local scene in Singapore). This is a lush, dense, textured and amazing rap record with Southeast Asian samples and Taoist folklore all over it. Great lyrics too - conscious and solid. This will NOT be for everyone. This is a VERY intense, deathy, grindy debut LP from Chile's CADAVERIC RESIN, which indeed has a female vocalist and drum programmer - she goes by Raniit4. This is some grody, nasty stuff. Jake in the desert<p>This week's <a href="https://c.im/tags/ThursDeath" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ThursDeath</span></a> is a huge contender this year - it surprised me and grew on me. Seymour, Tennessee's EXORENCY and their new LP 'Obsecration of Immortal Flesh' is a banger of a metal record. Real OSDM feel - riffs for days, killer drums, small amount of black metal screech vocal, less than Skeletonwitch. They remind me of Skeletonwitch sometimes, but no thrash here. Jake in the desert<p>It's still early-ish here, maybe you just need some later in the day energy. I gotta share this fucking FANTASTIC new LP "Gull Songs" that Toronto's EYE BALL just put out. Fast, weird, herky jerky, you know I love this shit. Kinda Superchunk maybe, but faster?
