Kadin<p>Really intrigued by the tiny multi-CPU + AI-acceleration <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/IoT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>IoT</span></a> boards that seem to be hitting the market, e.g. the <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/0x64" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>0x64</span></a> (<a href="https://wiki.pine64.org/wiki/Ox64" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">wiki.pine64.org/wiki/Ox64</span><span class="invisible"></span></a>) from <span class="h-card"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@PINE64" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>PINE64</span></a></span> and the <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/M1s" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>M1s</span></a> from <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/Sipeed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Sipeed</span></a>, both of which use the same <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/RISCV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RISCV</span></a> SoC. The M1s is ~$13 FOB US on AliExpress, quantity 1.</p><p>Software seems very immature right now, though. But both *should* be capable of running full <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> (not RTOS) at least on 1 of the processors.</p><p>Looking forward to see what people do with them…<br><a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/embedded" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>embedded</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/hardware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>hardware</span></a></p>
