I'm currently using a Levinson (40% split ortholinear) with Zelio switches (67g) and some simple blank key caps.

It's a pretty decent board but these switches are so heeeeaaaavvvvy (and now I have the Beatles stuck in my head).

I thought I found my endgame (hah), but the low-profile clicky switches on this badge have got me thinking ๐Ÿค”

What are y'all typing on?

It's way too easy to start something and yet incredibly difficult to finish anything.

It's seems like every weekend I'm half-finishing a side-project. This weekend was a web sockets thing.

marks the date when humanityโ€™s demand for ecological resources and services in a given year exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year. In 2021, it falls on July 29.

Bummer that it's so early this year.

I've been working on a little side project this weekend: rewrite my company's docs site homepage in a way that it achieves a perfect lighthouse score for performance, accessibility, and SEO.

It actually wasn't too challenging and I learned a ton in the process. It turns out that, by using semantic elements, there's almost no need for <div> tags (I used 4), classes (I used 1), and IDs (I used zero).

I'm gonna turn these learnings into either a series of blog posts or a lightning talk.

Just got my badge for ! Excited to start tinkering with it and uncovering it's secrets.

Why are web components not as popular as , , etc? They seem much simpler / lighter.

For me, one of the hardest (and arguably most important) things about being a senior-level engineer is knowing when to let others work on code instead of doing it yourself.

Teaching people how to fish is important, even if you REALLY like fishing.

I'm trying to (re)learn C and I can tell that I've spent far too long in the JavaScript wild west.

Maybe I'm using zsh wrong, but I'm not seeing the advantages over bash. I've tried using the neat stuff from oh-my-zsh, but it just slows down my prompt and I usually end up ripping it out for my own simple config.

I wish there was an easy way to tell soon-to-be grandparents "I love you but please don't move across the country to the house down the street"

Does anyone have a ? The sealed version is back in stock and I've been considering moving towards a more open platform for my smartwatch.

I didn't realize how many inline links I used in markdown until I decided to copy my posts into

I'm sure there's a neat macro that can do this for me, but these muscle relaxers are making my head fuzzy

I need a new album for the start of the week. Does anyone have any good recommendations? I'm pretty open to any genre.

Pulled a muscle in my neck / back. It's a great reminder that I work in a profession that's not kind to the body.

On the upside, it was an excuse to break out my split keyboard again! The position it requires is much more comfortable.

Got a capsule up and running: gemini://zstix.io

It was super straightforward to do with Agate. Did it on my phone in under 10 minutes while watching escape to the country (I'm into British TV).

Mostly palace holder for now.

Trying to give a shot, but I'm struggling to set my resolution (via xrandr). Tried setting it in .xinitrc and .xsession without luck. Anyone else run into issues?
