We are happy to resume the Plasma Mobile by @kde updates series.
This time, new applications, working rotation, performance improvements and several application updates.
In my way to @fosdem now. And of courses I boarded my bus using the PinePhone running postmarketOS and Plasma Mobile using KDE Itinerary! So awesome!

A recent article on a big tech news site included this phrase:
"[...] Linux phones like the PinePhone, [...]are full of closed-source firmware from non-open components"
We'd like to clear the record: The #PinePhone has two blobs -- neither runs on the main SoC: One loaded to WiFi/BT module, other enclosed within the cell modem. In the modern world of tech, both blobs are unavoidable.

I'll be presenting on the FOSDEM main stage about Linux on mobile together with Merlijn Wajer from Maemo Leste. If you can not make it, make sure to watch the livestream!
Now that we're all rested from the holidays, time for you all to sign up for some fun activities: https://fosdem.org/2020/news/2019-12-31-call-for-volunteers/ Jokes aside, it would be literally impossible to make FOSDEM happen without all the wonderful people who volunteer, so thank you :) !
postmarketOS // New postmarketOS build infrastructure is powered by sourcehut builds
The form factor seems much more modern cell phone esque than the librem 5, and I like the internal switches for various peripherals. Still working on getting pmOS up and running for it.
The Plasma Browser Integration plugin is really great! Not only can I control music playing in the browser from keyboard shortcuts and the menu in the taskbar but even from the buttons of my Bluetooth headphones!
(The only thing missing is Plasma displaying the battery percentage of my headphones, as far as I know it's supported but BlueZ doesn't publish battery infos from my headphones for some reason)
Programming in my free time for fun
