Quick toot on how to install Waydroid on #ArchLinuxARM:
- install lxc
- download https://danctnix.arikawa-hi.me/waydroid-20210730-1-aarch64.pkg.tar.xz and install it using pacman -U
- Add binder.devices="anbox-binder,anbox-hwbinder,anbox-vndbinder,binder,hwbinder,vndbinder" to boot/boot.txt right after loglevel in the arguments line
- in /boot run ./mkscr
- start Waydroid using sudo waydroid-start
- for stopping it use sudo waydroid-stop
If you notice that it starts slowly you can stop it and retry until the animation is smooth.
@email@example.com A little tip too add once the image is running. It is scaled pretty big. To adjust do to settings -> display -> display size and set it to smallest or maybe smaller. Makes it all way more legible and typing is easier
