@_elena yes but i disagree with Impossible Foods analogy.

Impossible Foods disrupt and innovate which even if they were VC funded the business logic aligns with the goal.

There's no business logic in Bluesky and it's not really innovating or disrupting so the actual social gain here extremely untrustworthy.

What will happen when VC bros start asking for their money back? Bluesky gonna stay selling domain names? It just doesn't compute no matter how you look at it.

@fluffykittycat @_elena yup people conveniently forget that Twitter was mostly a shithole even before Musk bought it. We need to raise the bar with our expectations to avoid repeating the same mistakes.
