Where or how do you post Fosstodon/Mastodon posts?

@wervice @mike Combo of Fosstodon website on Windows and the Ivory app on my Mac

@aner @mike Cool, I use Pinafore on Windows, because it looks better that the PWA in my opinion and Focus on Android, because the UI is just better using an app than with a website, in my opinion.

@wervice I used Pinafore for a while, but stopped when the author decided to retire it. Obviously it still works and works well, but it's unmaintained at this juncture and I didn't want to rely it on it to much because of that.

@aner

@mike I prefer having at least two columns visible at the same time, one for my Home and the other Local, so any interface that gives me that in a clean view works well for me. It's why I use the advanced web interface when I'm on the website, and Ivory has good support for multiple columns.

@aner I like having multiple columns when I have a display that works with it, so I'm all about the advanced UI on my computer. I have 13 columns right now, so I use it extensively. Mobile I don't like it as much because the display isn't as complimentary to that kind of UI. I wouldn't mind a version of the Advanced UI where I could swipe between columns, so it made use the of the display I have but still gave me that functionality, but currently I don't know of an app/UI that does that.

@wervice Personally I use almost always use the web UI through desktop browser or PWA. I also have the official app, Tusky, and Fedilab on my phone (and whatever other app might need some testing at any given time).

@wervice I use @IceCubesApp on my iPhone and a combo of the Mastodon web app and Ice Cubes on macOS. I like phanby too!

@wervice sometimes , but I recently switched to :debian: which doesn't have the package in stable yet, so haven't used that in a while 😛

@wervice Mostly the Tuba (Gnome) app on my desktop rn, Mastodon has a fantastic website but I also really dig the simplicity of Gnome apps and beside a few crashes and buttons that remain highlighted it works very well!

@Fosstonaut That's cool. I didn't like the idea of having a native app running on my computer, but I have to admit that some apps look really cool.

@wervice Trying out the fork of the official mobile client. A solid one I've been using is which has long press options to manage boosting/replying/ect across multiple accounts. Useful if you want each one to have it's own focus.

@wervice tusky because.. Dont know actually. It was the first I tried and it doesn't piss me off..
🙃

@wervice I use the server's Web interface, and the Mastodon for Android mobile app (don't judge, lol)

@golemwire Also cool, I did this until yesterday and then I looked for a better looking alternative.

@wervice tuba on desktop and mastodon on mobile

@wervice
Fedilab. I can't remember the reasons for the choice but I'm generally happy with it.
Occasionally use the Web if I'm at the computer.
@mike

@wervice either the tuba desktop app, or tusky on the phone
