Quick tip, in case you didn't know about this already:

You can opt out of all your wifi access points being geolocated in various databases by choosing an ESSID that ends with "_nomap".

Yes, there's no guarantee that any of those services *actually* honor that, but I guess it's better than not having the "_nomap" suffix at least...

@blindcoder Yeah, that one was quite a horrible shit-show indeed. I'm not entirely sure whether it's still active or not, some reports seem to indicate Microsoft dropped it again (?)
