For those of you who are unsure between getting a or a , this article from some months ago is still relevant, and compares the two devices well beyond their technical specifications.

@tuxdevices I read that post before ordering my Pinephone. The main reason was price and I wanted to try Linux in the phone. But when I can afford a Librem I will buy it for sure.

@tuxdevices I really like this article but it needs an update.There's a PinePhone convergence edition now which has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage (so exactly as much as the Librem 5 has) but it still very much cheaper.While the normal PinePhone has too few RAM and storage for me,I think the new PinePhone convergence edition is the perfect mobile Linux device.That's the one I ordered a few weeks ago.
