NEW CHAPTER ALERT!
A new sub-chapter on the Data Hazards is now live!
Check out the chapter here: https://the-turing-way.netlify.app/ethical-research/data-hazards
This chapter finds its roots & inspirations from Nina Di Cara & Natalie Zelenka, the creators of the Data Hazards Project. It also collates information & knowledge gathered from Susana Roman Garcia & Ceilidh Welsh's experience hosting a 1-day Data Ethics Symposium in March 2023.
This chapter covers and introduces the Data Hazards Project, how to use the Data Hazards labels and apply them to your own research!

The writing and reviewing process took months of discussion and review, involving members of the Data Hazards Team (Natalia Zelenka, Nina Di Cara) and Turing Way (Emma Karoune, @aleesteele, @malvikasharan, @batool664 @AleAAJ, Arielle Bennett, David Sarmiento-Perez, Irma Hafidz).
Thank you for all the conversations, feedback and help along the way, and to everyone who co-drafted, reviewed, discussed, and published this new chapter in Github pull requests, google docs, and other platforms.
This chapter is still a work in progress! If you wanted to get involved please check out some discussions on the chapter: https://github.com/the-turing-way/the-turing-way/pull/3514.
