If google could do half the things 'privacy advocates' accuse them of doing, i wouldn't have left advertising for adtech.

Querying the 'Eavesdropping by Devices' database to deliver ads would be fascinating. unfortunately, it doesn't exist.

and before everybody piles on, I hate google, too: closed-source software has no freedoms.

but claiming that a random google employee... or even their CEO... has access to a gigantic PII database is accusing them of poor engineering.

with a database like that, china wouldn't just try to hack it... they'd send an army to seize it.
