if i'm jury-rigging a ubuntu box to function as a temporary internet router to a bunch of servers with dhcp, is sysctl.net.ipv4_forward the only thing i need, or do I also need to masquerade the NAT?

the ubuntu box is essentially plugging straight into the internet backbone. the other boxes need internet for provisioning, and the client has an unmanaged switch.
