Huh, lol: The `column` program from `util-linux` (ie. present on practically every linux distribution) segfaults when you pass a non-ASCII character with the -s parameter, but only when accesed through git-shell... I wonder if that could be exploited...
git-shell does indeed handle non-ASCII sequences a bit weird... I'll look into it at one point...
