looking for suggestions for a music player on Android. I don't use subscription services so it will be my local collection uploaded to the phone. Thanks for the suggestions ahead of time.

I should of mentioned above.. I'm looking for somthing that can do dynamic playback also. Similar to Sayonara player on the desktop.

@timapple what is "dynamic" playback? Almost no players produce static (noise) when playing audio files or data

@dpreacher Dynamic Playback is like party mode, but instead of picking the next song randomly, it uses the tempo and such to pick a similiar song.

@timapple that is a very specific feature and doesn't necessarily stand to qualify a general purpose audio player. like an audio player meant for audio books like Voice has features specific to audio books even though it can play regular audio songs as well. Maybe pay to one of the authors of the players that look nice and request the feature. That's always a possibility.

@dpreacher I may do that... wondering if one existed at all first.

@timapple I read about the feature on Sayonara website and it isn't as sci fi as you make it out to be. Probably sometimes you get lucky with the tempo match perhaps given your collection. Incidentally my Android music player (Vanilla) has the feature of dynamically populating the queue and would probably do close to what you need if you did it from the Genres view.
