Holy. CRAP!
This is real-world battery life for the new XPS 13 with Snapdragon X Elite. I sure hope I can throw Linux on this thing, because the battery life hype is REAL.
#ARM
@killyourfm does it still have the touch sensitive function row? Because that is just bad UX design
@techcelt Yes. Yes it does :(
@killyourfm I've also seen the LTT snapdragon challenge, so thankfully there's a choice of OEMs offering it. And possibly Tuxedo and Framework might be? they've teased ARM hardware
@techcelt I would be thrilled if Framework offered this!
@killyourfm @techcelt apparently ACPI still sucks on Snapdragons, so dedicated devicetrees would be required for Linux support… I can only think of one or two manufacturers who care enough and have the skills to pull it off
@killyourfm as would I, I'd even be ok that only 2/3 "core" distros were supported (like debian, ubuntu, fedora). Fedora Kinoite on a snapdragon laptop would be ace. Or Bazzite!
