Any #BSD devs in Texas looking for new work? Had a meeting today that makes me think we're going to need at least one more person familiar with working on any #BSD, but #FreeBSD in particular.

Also could use someone comfortable with Makefiles, networking, and shell scripts to help with CI and some releng/devops-type work.

Remote positions possible, but it's preferred that you're able to come into the office.

Boosts welcome, let me know if you think it'd be fun and you can join in! 1/2

@stujr Nice. It will be easier to inspect if we got the inside

@stujr Happy to help. :). In return help others who ask for old pc builds. 😉

Big shout out to @XxAlexXx for helping me out on this building a PC with a old case idea.

@stujr basically any tower from the last 15 years will work. They all use some variation of the ATX standard.

That’s actually what I did with mine. It’s a Ryzen CPU and mobo with a 580.. inside a Dell Inspiron case from like 2004 😂

Cost me 8 bucks at the thrift shop for that case

@stujr
Sure is and tell us how it goes with pics.

Not sure if this is the right instance but anyone here into building PCs ?

I am thinking about building a new pc with using a old Tower I have laying around.

Would it be possible or workable?

@stujr I do!

You can use the IMAP and SMTP protocols [1] [2] to connect any "client" (Outlook, Gmail, FairMail) with any "server" (Migadu, GSuite, Fastmail, etc.)

@stujr also, they claim here migadu.com/blog/redesign/ their webmail is now adopting SourceHut email workflow

a year ago Drew DeValut (a man behind SourceHut) released a a little bit controversial blog post drewdevault.com/2020/08/27/Mic

@stujr I cannot find the FAQ now anymore, maybe webarchive or something

anyway, everything I have read on them felt brutally honest to me

Stu boosted

@stujr i have read somewhere in theirs FAQ they do not want to support that

@stujr What kind of encryption do you expect? For PGP you need to handle that locally.

I was looking around on migadu.com and saw nothing about setting up encryption on email?

Anyone use this service and if you have any insight that would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning all !!! Hope everyone had a great weekend.
