@mxu I'm really happy with Bosch motor too. Also Riese-Mueller bikes are really fancy, sturdy and well thought, but very pricey. Not the best option if you must leave your horse at the train station.
@kev A good opportunity to "decarbon" your life. Maybe the bicycle can become a regular way of transportation on the long run for you. When all the health issues are cleared, of course. Get well.
@ssilaev It ought to be possible with Linux. I did setup a wired 1102 through a samba share a while ago. I had to use hp proprietary tools (hplip, hpsetup). But it's true it took me a lot of time, it was not straightforward and quite unstable.
@kev I guess the decision also depends on the environment. My all family is running Linux along with home server and samba printer. So, it's when I have to use Windows for work that I find myself wasting time in workarounds.
@arivigo I have the exact same problem and just just resolved issues pending from months. I realize that replying to requests asap even approximately is better than waiting for being able to produce the best answer. And don't hesitate to ask for help around you. I hope you'll sort it out soon.
I see a lot of #solus fans around here. Why is it so appealing? Why did you choose it over another curated rolling release like Manjaro for example
@rudolf I already tried that. but usb doesn't appear in the uefi software. I'd try to reset the uefi factory settings ?
We received new laptops at work but discovered they are setup with Windows Family. I'm up to install the professional version from usb stick... But usb doesn't show up in the boot menu.
It seems the manufacturer really want us to stick with his s**t. More and more I feel handcuffed when dealing with Windows
