We received new laptops at work but discovered they are setup with Windows Family. I'm up to install the professional version from usb stick... But usb doesn't show up in the boot menu. :blobcatfacepalm:
It seems the manufacturer really want us to stick with his s**t. More and more I feel handcuffed when dealing with Windows

@steppenwolf What is Windows Family? Wikipedia doesn't mention it, is it like Windoes 10 S?

You might need to disable secure boot to boot a USB.
Or try holding down power while windows is running. This will shut down hard. Then try booting USB.

@rudolf I already tried that. but usb doesn't appear in the uefi software. I'd try to reset the uefi factory settings ?
