Help me pick a decent : 13-14”, AMD preferred, as light as possible, good keyboard, good support (with the latest kernel).

Toss up between Lenovo T14s AMD (new) and something like a T460 (older, better compatibility,
much cheaper docking station).

Am I missing something? I’ll exclude Dell XPS models because of coil whine issues.

Oh yeah the Tuxedo models look good, unfortunately they’re not shippable before end of October :(

@paladin that’s a 15.6” display though and the nvidia graphics are a turn-off for me.

@stchris Oh sorry. Missed that. What is wrong with Nvidia graphics?

@paladin Linux support is flaky. And I wouldn’t need discrete graphics so integrated GPUs will do.

@stchris Just ordered a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon 8th gen. Great keyboard and now with good fedora support

@nightowl 1,04kg sounds amazing. I do believe it is quite a bit more expensive than the T14s AMD (and likely less powerful).

@stchris you probably right. But I have an AMD Ryzen desktop with enough power. Mobility is key for the laptop.
