If you use a distribution with the UI on your and miss automatic rotation, check this project out: gitlab.com/philprog/phosh-auto

My fell down from 4 feet high :( . Had a tpu case. Screen got slightly messed up on the top near the edge. Phone is still usable. For future, I must be prepared to learn screen replacement.

Man, the official YouTube app for Android is horrible. I don't understand how anyone can use that.

NewPipe ftw.

My Oneplus3T still holding up well in 2021. Performance, great for routine use cases. Battery, 1 full day with medium to heavy use. Running LineageOS 17.1.

Twidere from F-droid is very nice. Able to connect to both Twitter and Mastodon from same client. And post to both simultaneously.

@linmob ok cool. Same here but for example to see a project that’s hosted on GitHub or post an issue etc..

The team has released a new update about their progress. The homescreen is now more intuitive, a new mobile interface was added to Elisa, Koko got an image editor and much more...

Dear @linmob , do you know if there is a GitHub app/ client that works well on Pinephone ?

Heart says DanctNIX, mind says Mobian.

Going with the heart now. Time to flash the SD Card again.

Tried Manjaro with plasma 5.21 for a couple of hours. Great progress so far and a lot of potential. Now back to PostmarketOS. I somehow like the idea of Alpine Linux. Phosh needs more polishing.

@marquiskurt I tried Manjaro Lomiri once 10 days ago and again yesterday. Overall Lomiri is quite polished and smooth (compared to Phosh) but they are missing a lot of apps at the moment . Most default apps are ported from Ubuntu touch version. Most of the distros that i tried allowed me to do a scale-to-fit on the apps, but this one dint. So moved on. Will try again after couple of weeks.
