I have part-time, remote, paid work on an open-source project for anyone who is proficient with both Rails and Tailwind CSS. Please boost for visibility.

I was bummed that didn't work with Android Auto (it's an unfortunate safety/privacy tradeoff). I realized today that the version doesn't support but the Google Play Store that does... In hindsight it's obvious I should have checked that.

I've been an avid fan of for years and bought it on all platforms. While I'm not a fan of the subscription model, I did appreciate that they didn't convert existing users to the new model and never looked for alternatives. Until I heard about the interface upgrade for .
I switched over and it's an excellent piece of software packed with features and with a great eye for UI and UX. Congratulations to the team on a great release!

@TabsNotSpacesAM sad to hear that you're going on hiatus but totally understandable. Good luck to you and your family. Hopefully you'll be back, maybe even as a monthly podcast!?

Boosts Appreciated, I think this has a really cool use-case! πŸš€

Big announcement time πŸŽ‰

This project started as a "labor of love" side project but the awesome community response clearly showed me it deserved even more attention and care.

I'm excited to announce that NLnet / @NGIZero will be funding the project, allowing me to dedicate my full time to it and contribute in my own way to our collective struggle for online identity and security.

I thank all of you for your motivating feedback. Now, we can really begin 😎

I made a account @shom@pixelfed.social and followed it from my account. If I visit my pixelfed profile from fosstodon then I see one post. However, there are three posts on pixelfed as seen in a browser: pixelfed.social/shom
Is this a quirk or ?

Seeking a little fediverse advice/learning use-cases... I would like to discover and follow interesting photographers on . Since that's part of the fediverse, I can follow anyone from this account (awesome!). But how do I browse and discover (without creating a pixelfed account)?
What do y'all do? Multiple accounts and apps or discover with specific accounts on specific platforms and then follow from a main fediverse identity?

If anyone has some experience with or scripting I would love some help for , a utility.

I wrote up all the details on this issue: codeberg.org/shom/keyoxidizer/
Note this is on feature branch which is ahead of main for all proof management.

This isn't an official @keyoxide effort so please don't bug them but I'd love to get help from @yarmo if you have time.

If you are or are not a user, please consider taking the signal user survey. Signal does not collect analytics on their users to respect privacy and I appreciate them transparently asking for the feedback instead. More information on their blog entry: signal.org/blog/signal-researc

Also, if you haven't tried signal in the last year+ they have made significant user experience improvements (new features, ease of use, stability).

Hi everyone!
By way of I produce a twice-weekly, TTS-voiced, Linux and open source news podcast that aims not to waste your time. You can check out the latest episode here:

And if you work on a project with a major milestone coming up, do get in touch so I can perhaps give it some publicity.

Hi.
I’m 34 years old, dad of two, ICU-nurse and a hobbyist computer programmer and FOSS-lover.
I just learned about mastodon and I am fascinated by its concept.

Hoping to find some chill people here to talk about my interests!

release 0.1.0 is out. Which means I'm hopeful it does what it claims: provides a guided experience in setting up @keyoxide. Currently supports: DNS, Gitea, Github, and Mastodon proofs. If you try it, and find a bug / have suggestions please let me know.

The repo is now also on @codeberg: codeberg.org/shom/keyoxidizer
It'll continue to be pushed to both Codeberg and Github: github.com/shombando/keyoxidiz in keeping with the spirit of making things easier for users.
