Epic Games is a horrible company fighting a lawsuit that would net them much more money if they win, but I can't say I don't want them to win it.
It would have significant implications for all hardware vendors and would be the first case law specifically defending people's right to control their own devices.
They have deep pockets, and therefore the money and resources to fight Apple.
The implications would be much more far reaching than just Apple (even effecting game consoles).

With this great recognition from the Debian Project, the €60,000 to fund live in PeerTube are almost reached. To contribute: https://joinpeertube.org/roadmap/
Much of what we think we "own" online like books, movies and music is actually a form of leasing from Amazon, Google, Apple, etc. These companies may mislead people to believe they own the products they pay for. They may have no idea that their viewing, reading and watching is surveilled.
Working with our members of Congress and other legislative bodies to legally define the word "Buy" and force companies to use "Lease" instead, could help people understand what is really happening.
"That begs the question: Why should you trust a VPN that promises to protect your privacy more than your internet provider? The answer is that you can't, and you shouldn't."
#Youtube's now constantly nagging people to log in.
We should all assume that they'll soon make registration/login mandatory across the whole platform – hopefully committing suicide by doing this.
The world would be a better place where, when someone encounters something confusing or which doesn't meet their preconceptions, they first tried to learn and understand it before rewriting a bunch of software and shoving all of their notions of correct into the domain
This one is kind of subtle so to be clear I'm talking about the influence of windows and mac on linux
Now it completely randomly logged me out in the middle of a call??
How does this society still trust Microsoft's sofware so much
