@samurro ‘l’ (or the right arrow) is enough. Anyway when you have opened a directory, when you go back to parent the search results are lost. This doesn’t happen with searched files.
@chakuari if you press "l" you type small L into the search... ?
@samurro Writing
/pdf
filters for files and directories containing “pdf” in their name. Once having highlighted one result, pressing l (el) or the right arrow key will open that file/directory with the default opener.
@chakuari if you are still in the search it will just write /pdfl...but whatever you are not the developer so I shouldn't bother you sorry.
@samurro Actually it works, but before pressing ‘l’ you have to move to one of the search results… using the arrow keys! I use nvi a lot, but still prefer the arrow keys to move and change lines, so. Whatever.
@chakuari And thats exactly my problem! :D Thanks for confirming.
@chakuari No sorry, I am not using #vifm. Currently I am trying out #yazi as a #cli #filemanager
