@chakuari How do you deal with searching in and then trying to open one of your search results just with keyboard? When you are used to hjkl movement, I fail to chose and open the searched dirs.

@samurro ‘l’ (or the right arrow) is enough. Anyway when you have opened a directory, when you go back to parent the search results are lost. This doesn’t happen with searched files.

@chakuari if you press "l" you type small L into the search... ?

filters for files and directories containing “pdf” in their name. Once having highlighted one result, pressing l (el) or the right arrow key will open that file/directory with the default opener.

@chakuari if you are still in the search it will just write /pdfl...but whatever you are not the developer so I shouldn't bother you sorry.

@samurro Actually it works, but before pressing ‘l’ you have to move to one of the search results… using the arrow keys! 😅 I use nvi a lot, but still prefer the arrow keys to move and change lines, so. Whatever.
